Heading to McCurdy Park for 4 days next week. Looking for any info regarding the area. (i.e.- prime campsite locations, how's the fishing?, etc.) Not really looking for any climbing beta, looking forward to the adventure.

I didn't fish when there but I saw fish in the streams and also saw a few fisherman.

My trip started at goose creek trailhead and I did the whole loop. According to the map it's 26 miles I think.

You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a kickass camp spot. The camping just below the tower itself is especially nice.

Take some pictures of your trip, Mike. We tried to climb there a few weekends ago and got rained out. Hope you sit out the rains and get some climbing in.

I climbed up there about 4 years ago and didn't see any fish near the rock but I'm sure if you hike about 30 minutes or more from the tower you'll find some.

Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to take pictures. Hopefully the weather cooperates, and we can get a couple days of climbing in. Either way I'm simply excited to get in there and see what it's all about.
