DescriptionThe West Face Bulge is a Bulging Headwall on the west face of Tahquitz. This area of Tahquitz has several classic route like The Step (5.10a), Super Pooper (5.10a) and The Vampire (5.11a). The rock is steep on the left side and is bordered on the right by a large break in the rock (The Trough). Getting ThereTake the climber trail to Lunch Rock. Go around Lunch Rock to the left and up then traverse left along the base to The Trough. To get to the Step and Super Pooper take the larger ledge (FBT ledge) (5.6) located above and to the left of The Trough.
