Description Named due to its position between the Sierra Crest and the Kings-Kern Divide.
First climbed in 1899 by E.B. Copeland and E.N. Anderson.
Getting There From the Symmes Creek trailhead, follow established trail to Shepherd Pass (~12,000'). From here, Junction Peak will be visible to the NW.
