BETA PHOTO: The Yogi Crack Area

Description

The Yogi Crack Area is the sort of small ampitheater west and above the Gold Wall on the north side of the canyon end. The Yogi Cracks are a set of three similar crack routes that feature slippery rock and tricky protection in places. In general, the cracks get harder as they go from left (9-) to right (9+).

This area is popular with climbers looking for moderate lines. Take care here as the slippery rock and tricky protection has caused severe accidents (including one fatality) in the past.

Getting There

The Yogis are found at the western end of the canyon where the Gold Pond is located, and west down the same canyon side as the Gold Wall.
