i love the smell of climbing, whatever that smell is.... maybe a combination of chalk, dirt, sweat and who knows what else, but everyone who climbs knows the smell and when i catch a whiff of that climbing smell it sends me through a wild ride of emotions from my greatest joy to my worst fear, frustration to elation and everything between... i get images of all of the amazing places ive been on a rope or wrestling boulders... many of the most important moments in my life that smell was there and its like an old friend that helps me relive the wonderful life ive chosen... a life on the rock.... |

Jul 5 - 1st Ascent... I cleaned it on rappel but climbed it ground up... 2nd try!!!
